The Stepping Stones Group is committed to your career development and training. As noted during your hiring process, you are REQUIRED to complete Behavior Support training prior to your start date. The course was created to help you have a safe and successful school year.

INSTRUCTIONS: 

1. To get started, make sure you have created a Bridge Academy account. Instructions on how to create a Bridge Academy account are below:

  • Click Here >>> www.ssgbridgeacademy.com
    • Click Sign Up
    • Select your discipline. Select your appropriate discipline from the drop-down options.
    • Once your account is created, you will automatically be enrolled in the "Introductory Behavior Support Training" course. It will be listed under "My Courses" on your dashboard.

2. Complete the Introductory Behavior Support Training curriculum prior to your start date.
 
***MAKE SURE YOU ARE TAKING THE CORRECT COURSE FOR YOUR POSITION AS PREVIEWED ABOVE. NO OTHER COURSE WILL MEET THIS REQUIREMENT.***

  

IN THE COURSE:

  1. Click "Start" and work your way through each subsequent section.
  2. Complete all sections, and then complete the attestation and course evaluation.
  3. Once you pass the attestation and complete the course evaluation, you will earn a completion certificate that is available within the course or under your transcript.
  4. To view your transcript, find the Transcript icon on your Bridge Academy dashboard. Download and save a copy of your completion certificate for the IBST course to your desktop.
  5. Once you've completed IBST, you will automatically receive your training stipend the following month. For example, if you complete the course in October, you will receive the stipend in one of your November paychecks. Please note, if you completed this training during the summer months, the stipend will be paid out in September.
