The Stepping Stones Group is committed to your career development and training. To ensure that students have a safe place to learn, the state of California amended Education Code 56366.1 (a) by AB 1172. This amendment requires that behavioral training must be provided to all staff who have any contact or interaction with pupils during the school day. The contents of this course meet the requirements stipulated by this amendment.

Allow yourself up to 2 hours to complete this course.

1. To get started, login to your Bridge Academy account or create one if necessary. If you've forgotten your login and password please email bridge.academy@ssg-healthcare.com.  Instructions on how to create a new Bridge Academy account are below:

  • Complete your profile.
  • Click Sign Up
  • Begin enrolling in courses and accessing resources!

2. In Bridge Academy, complete the Managing Behavior with Insight: A Practical Toolkit for School-Based Teams curriculum prior to your start date. This curriculum is located under "Featured Courses" on your dashboard.

Credits:
ASHA: This course is offered for 0.2 ASHA CEUs (Introductory level).
NASP: This course is offered for 2 hours of NASP-approved CPDs.
AOTA: This course is offered for 0.2 AOTA CEUs (#13064, Introductory Level, OT Service Delivery & Foundational Knowledge).
Nursing: This course is approved for 2.0 Nursing CE Contact Hours. The provider is approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider #17765.
BACB: This course is offered for 2.0 credits of BACB ACE-approved CEUs.
BICC: The course is offered for 2 hours of BICC-approved CEUs. 

IN THE COURSE:

  1. Enroll in the course and watch the video.
  2. Complete the quiz.
  3. Evaluate the course by clicking the "Evaluate Course" button on top right.
  4. Once you earn an 80% or higher on the quiz and evaluate the course you will earn a completion certificate.
  5. Please save a copy of your completion certificate for your records.
  6. You can access and download your certificate by clicking on "Transcript" on the main dashboard in Bridge Academy.
